On November 19 – 22, 2015, the city of Rostov-on-Don hosted the Austrian cinema festival called Through the Eyes of Austria. The program of the event included four astonishing films brought from the motherland of Sigmund Freud. Three of them connect with the scientist directly: they make fun of the Austrian national treasure, psychoanalysis. Vampire on a couch, a horror comedy, brings a nosferatu in love to a cozy psychoanalyst’s office; Super Ego, a manners comedy, shows how psychoanalysis can change both life and personality of a small-time angler; Eternal Life, a dramedy, which is one of the best European art motion pictures of 2015, brings a failing suicider to a series of psychoanalysis sessions. A special treat is the Great Museum documentary, a lively journey through the layers of culture, memory and modern life. SpecProject PR agency rendered a number of services pertaining to organization and conduct of the festival.
